How do I change the settings?

Settings for PhotoNote are handled under the generic settings for your iPhone or iPod Touch. Click on the 'Settings' icon on the main page of your iPhone or iPod. Click on the PhotoNote icon and you can change the settings from there.

Can I email my PhotoNotes?

Yes, as of version 1.3 you are able to email your PhotoNotes. Due to current limitations in the iPhone OS, emailing uses a work-around SMTP solution, which will work, but is not 100% reliable. We are continuing to work on alternatives and will release an updated version as soon as possible.

Do I need to keep PhotoNote open why emailing my note?

Yes, for now you will need to keep PhotoNote open while the email is sending. If you close the application, sending will be interrupted. Sending the email will go through the following stages: "Connecting", "Connected", "Preparing Email", "Sending Email", the last stage usually taking the longest.

In v1.3.1 the time-outs have been increased, which will allow sending of emails on slower connections and with the 1st generation iPhone as well. Note however that on slow connections it may take up to 4 minutes to send the email.
